Michael Stone, PE

President & Principal Engineer

North Carolina State University, Civil Engineering Bachelor of Science, 2006. Michael has over 15 years of experience in the structural engineering field.  Since working for Lysaght & Associates, P.A., he has been the project manager for governmental, educational, commercial, industrial and residential projects including, but not limited to, structural design using timber, steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, laminated wood, and light gauge steel.  In 2018, he became President of the firm.  When Michael is not on site, or in the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, exercising, and of course, cheering on the NC State Wolfpack. On warmer weekends you will likely find him near any large body of water.
