North Carolina State University, Civil Engineering Bachelor of Science, 2012. North Carolina State University, Master of Civil Engineering, 2015. Andy grew up in the Raleigh area before attending NC State to pursue his undergraduate degree from 2008 to 2012. Upon graduating he began working as a project manager for a material testing agency until he returned to NC State for his master’s degree in 2013. While pursuing his master’s degree he began working as a structural engineering intern with designs focused on commercial, industrial/pharmaceutical, and disaster recovery. He completed his master’s degree in 2015 and continued working toward his PE Licensure which he obtained in 2016 and his SE Licensure which he obtained in 2022. Andy joined Lysaght & Associates in 2018 and has since focused on commercial projects including post-tensioned podiums, office buildings, multi-family residential, and existing building renovations. He has also provided specialty structural consulting for the Bacchus conservation project with the North Carolina Museum of Art, and for public art projects around the country with MetaLab Studio.
